The Heartland Financial USA, Inc. Executive team was honored recently at a customer appreciation reception held February 25th at the corporate offices of Kurtz Communications, Inc. located on the the 4th and 5th floors of the Star Brewery Building in Dubuque, Iowa.
The event celebrated the successful deployment of Heartland Financial’s new state-of-the-art Qwest MPLS Data Network. The extensive Data Network was implemented nationwide with Heartland Financial’s member banks to deliver advanced video, voice and data services and to power future high-bandwidth services. The new Qwest MPLS Backbone resulted in a net cost savings to Heartland Financial and at the same time increased the capacity of their Network.
Sandy Spencer, Executive Vice President of Qwest Communications from Denver, CO was in Dubuque to personally thank the Heartland Financial Executives for utilizing Qwest Communications services and for working with Kurtz Communications, Inc., a Premier Master Business Partner of Qwest. Kurtz Communications led the design, engineering and implementation of the project working closely with members of the Heartland Financial team and Qwest.
